Seville Unique Experiences was created to offer a deeper and more meaningful way of discovering Seville through cultural tours led by local guides. Our experiences go beyond traditional sightseeing and focus on understanding the city from the inside.

We specialise in small-group cultural experiences in Seville, carefully designed to combine historical insight, everyday life and including lesser-known locations off the beaten path in most tours. This approach allows for a more personal, engaging and high-quality experience.

Founded by José, an experienced official guide, the project is built around a team of local professionals with strong academic backgrounds and a deep knowledge of Seville’s history, art and heritage. Every tour is thoughtfully curated, with attention to detail, context and storytelling.

As locals, we don’t just show monuments — we help travellers understand Seville’s rhythm, traditions and identity. Inspired by the slow travel philosophy, we encourage visitors to explore Seville at a relaxed pace, taking the time to observe, connect and truly experience the destination.

Hi there! I’m Valentín.

I’m an official tour guide and historian passionate about helping travellers discover Seville in an authentic and personal way. For more than nine years, I’ve been creating experiences that go beyond monuments, connecting history, art and daily life so visitors can truly feel the city.

I hold a degree in History, a Master’s in American Studies and a Higher Diploma in Tourist Information and Guidance. Sharing Seville’s spirit through stories, flavours and lived experiences is not just my work, but my greatest passion.

Hello! I’m Laura.

I studied Tourism because I’ve always loved languages, people and understanding how every traveller experiences a place differently. Since 2019, I’ve been guiding visitors through Seville, sharing its history while learning from each person who joins my tours.

My goal is to make you feel connected to the city, exploring with curiosity, closeness and a smile, so your memories of Seville stay with you long after your visit.

Born in a family of History teachers, I grew up surrounded by books, maps and endless stories that shaped my curiosity from a young age. After travelling the world to explore other cultures and their past, I came back to Seville to share the fascinating layers of my own city. As a guide, I love connecting big historical events with small details you’d never notice on your own, making each tour clear, enjoyable and full of meaning.

I’m a historian, a proud Sevillian and an enthusiastic traveller. My love for legends and local stories led me to study History and later to become a licensed guide. For almost five years, I’ve been helping visitors explore Seville through culture, storytelling and meaningful encounters.

I’ve collaborated with cultural associations, international schools, and I share heritage content online — always with the same goal: making history feel alive.

Hello everyone, I’m Bárbara.

I was born and raised in Seville, and my passion for its past led me to study History and specialise in Archaeology. Before guiding, I spent years working in archaeological excavations, uncovering layers of heritage beneath the city.

With nearly nine years of experience as an official guide, I bring that same curiosity and depth to every tour, helping visitors understand Seville from its foundations upward.

I grew up in Seville but lived in several countries before returning to the place I love most. I’m an official guide with a degree in Tourism and Humanities, and I’m passionate about sharing every hidden corner, story and tradition that shapes my city’s identity.

My goal is to immerse you fully in Seville’s culture so you can experience it through the eyes of a local.

Hola! I’m Clara.

I’m a historian and licensed guide from the Junta de Andalucía, born in the vibrant neighbourhood of Triana. I love offering slow-travel experiences focused on history, culture and daily life, helping visitors understand Seville from a local perspective.

For me, travelling means adapting respectfully and embracing local living — and that’s what I aim to bring to every tour.

A Sevillian at heart, I studied History and later earned a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, which allowed me to live abroad before returning home. Guiding lets me combine storytelling, humour and solid historical context to make the city easy and enjoyable to understand.

I love helping visitors connect with Seville’s character through both its past and present.

Hi! I’m José María.

I’m the founder of Seville Unique Experiences, a project that grew out of my years as a guide and my desire to offer travellers a more authentic, human and meaningful way to discover the city. With a background in Humanities and as the author of a local guidebook, I design small-group experiences that focus on storytelling, connection and true local insight.

My mission is to help visitors understand Seville not only through its monuments, but through its people and spirit.
